All reviews are bespoke, so the packages below just give an idea of how they typically work. All are subject to discussion and agreement to meet your needs. Prices quoted include everything detailed below and expenses.
The Visit
- Welcome and introductions:
- Meeting with Head of Department:
- Curriculum overview – principles, structure, mapping, enrichment
- Content to be seen during lesson visits
- Assessment
- Quality assurance
- Professional development
- Lesson visits
- Work scrutiny:
- Samples of books/folders of pupils/students, preferably from lessons observed
- Pupil discussion:
- A conversation with pupils/students from a Year Group(s), preferably from lessons observed aimed at finding out ‘What it is like to be a pupil at this school?’
- Meeting with staff:
- Workload
- Assessment practices
- Behaviour
- Professional development
- Feedback to headteacher/SLT/HOD
- Full report – Draft reports are submitted to the Headteacher or CEO for approval before being finalised. This will cover observations, findings and recommendations.
- Communication – Direct access via email or WhatsApp for communications during the process.
- Half day (up to 4 hours on site) -Smaller departments/subject areas, typically with 1-3 teaching staff: £500
- Full day (up to 8 hours on site) -Larger departments/subject areas, typically with 4 or more teaching staff: £800
